SCIENTIA ADVISORS LAUNCHS LIFE SCIENCE KNOWLEDGE NETWORK

ScientiaNET provides quick, easy access for consultation, surveys, opinions of 10,000 leading scientists, physicians, practitioners, academics and industry

March 2, 2009, Cambridge, MA, and Palo Alto, CA--Scientia Advisors, an international management consulting firm specializing in health care and the life sciences, today launched ScientiaNET—a proprietary, rapidly-growing network of more than 10,000 experts on life science tools and technologies, medical devices, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, functional foods, and regulatory issues.

The new “knowledge network” enhances Scientia’s ability to deliver timely opinions, deep analyses and actionable insights. It also allows Scientia clients to consult and interact with network member/experts and makes it possible to efficiently carry out custom-tailored electronic surveys of Scientia’s expert base.
“In the current difficult economy, ScientiaNET provides easy access to a large number of industry experts whose opinions are shaping the healthcare landscape”, said Harry Glorikian, managing partner of Scientia Advisors. “We are pleased to offer these new and valuable services to our clients.”

The network will also be used to organize timely, topical roundtable discussions and events that will allow clients to meet with industry and academic experts in interactive and educational settings.

ScientiaNET experts are chosen on the basis of their recognition by the healthcare and life science communities as thought-leaders in their respective fields.

The experts typically consult with business leaders and decision-makers on industry trends and developments, operational problems/solutions, or specific products/services. They are compensated for their time and contributions based on their own hourly billing rates. They may earn additional payment by participating in online surveys and roundtable events sponsored by ScientiaNET.

ScientiaNET experts may accept or decline any engagement requests. Interviews, surveys, and roundtable events are timed to fit the experts’ schedules.

All ScientiaNET engagements and projects are confidential. Member/experts’ contact or personal information is not sold or given to third parties.
