CASE STUDY Inforonics, located in Andover
MA, develops and runs e-commerce sites for multi-million
dollar companies. The company was growing by leaps and bounds and
needed a rewrite of its own Web site. Inforonics asked Harris to retain the site's original
four-part structure, but to completely revamp the architecture and navigation schemes within each
section. We interviewed some 25 executives and managers within the company in order to
understand the company's mission, history, capabilities, technology, methodology and
philosophy. We then developed a new internal navigational structure and wrote and
"chunked" material so that it would be clear, interesting and accessible
to potential clients, investors, and employees.
